Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVIVE trailer and pre-registration dawns together. Mobile release was announced by SEGA a month ago, for Japan initially. The unveiling was done recently and SEGA has given us some gameplay footage and cutscenes to peak at the story and game’s mechanics. So, without further ado:
SEGA’s Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVIVE mobile game came as a bit of a surprise to many, after their last entry in the franchise, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku, the studio who made the Yakuza games franchise. However, not only were people wrong, but the trailer seems to indicate that the stakes went up.
The trailer for the game is in Japanese but we were given a translation immediately. However, the visual part of it showed the true fans of the game enough. It showed that the game will include never better visuals, all signature characters, some new ones, and insane action. The moves and animations seen in SEGA’s trailer are really impressive.
As you stand back in awe, you might also notice how they solved the mobile phone controls for a fighting game, where you simply swipe or touch the screen to unleash combos, and only need to check the perfect timing for it. The story is also presented to be larger than ever before and we see a lot of familiar characters.
Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVIVE mobile game pre-registration will award players with Rei character, so head on to their official site or to the stores. The game features their resident artist, Tetsuo Hara, who had this to say about the upcoming release:
“I’d like to begin by thanking the fans for their continued support and love. Thanks to you, the manga of “Fist of the North Star” celebrated its 35th-anniversary last year.
To commemorate this milestone, we have teamed up with SEGA Games to create “Fist of the North Star LEGENDS ReVive”. Tetsuo also added: “The game offers an experience which can be enjoyed by both long-time “Fist of the North Star” fans and newcomers alike.
I hope you enjoy it and are able to create your own FotNS legend.”
